Winter Must-Haves

Winter is my favourite time of the year. I love drinking warm beverages, dressing stylish and the fact that my make up doesn’t melt off is always a bonus. But, winter is also the time of the year where my skin dries up like the Sahara dessert. I compiled a list of things I can’t live without during winter:

Neutrogena Hydro-Boost Gel for dry skin

This product has featured in one of my favourites posts before and I felt it necessary to feature again. This product makes my skin feel hydrated, smooth, refreshed and soft. Whenever I wash my face it feels tight and dry. This product has helped a lot to take that away. It also helps me to blend my makeup better if I apply it before foundation.

Garnier SkinActive Moisture Bomb Super-Hydrating Revitalising Tissue Mask

Yes, that is a mouth full. But this drugstore, budget friendly mask is amazing. It deeply hydrates my skin, smells amazing and is very affordable. I first saw it being used by Danielle Peazer in a Youtube video and decided to try it out for myself. I apply this mask about once or twice a week and I have noticed a big difference in my skin.

What are your favourite masks to use?

Sorbet Pedi-care Rejuvenating Heel Balm

I have very dry and itchy feet. This product has helped me a lot by hydrating my feet and thus getting rid of the itchy feeling. I have noticed a big difference in my feet. It absorbs easily and smells amazing.

Catrice Cosmetics IcoNails Gel Laquer

I love nailpolish. I always feel more put together when my nails look good. I have been testing out the new Catrice Cosmetics Nail polishes and for winter the Rosywood Hills colour as been a must have. It is a mauve, burgundy colour and only takes two coats to make your nails stand out. It doesn’t chip easily and is long lasting.

NOMU Skinny Hot Chocolate.

With my new health plan , check out my post on my new lifestyle plan, I can’t have sugar. My dietitian recommended I try this hot chocolate as it is low in sugar. I love it. I usually warm my milk and add one teaspoon to it. It is chocolaty, creamy and delicious. I actually prefer it to regular hot chocolate.

What are some of your winter staples and must haves?
