What I Eat In A Day

As I mentioned in my first post of the month, I have started to focus on my health again. I am not only doing this for weight loss but just to be healthier in general.

I don’t eat the food below every single day, but this is typically what I eat in a day:

BREAKFAST

  • Glass of Water
  • About a Cup of Oats with a drizzle of honey.

I love the oats with honey. It has been my go to breakfast because it is quick,easy and delicious. I don’t add too much honey because it is still sugary – but it is better than refined sugars.

MORNING SNACK

  • 1 Orange
  • Or Protein Balls

I usually have some sort of fruit as my morning snack. I love oranges especially in the winter months.
If I want something more sweet, I will eat one or two of my protein balls (See Recipe Here: https://kayleighskorner.wordpress.com/2019/05/07/peanut-butter-protein-balls/ )

LUNCH

MID DAY SNACK

  • Fruit and Yogurt
  • Or Peanuts

For a mid day snack I tend to have fruit and yogurt or I will snack on some peanuts.

DINNER

  • Protein
  • Veggies
  • Starch

I try to eat as little starch as possible. I tend to eat more vegetables and swap out my starch for healthier starch.
